In Character Basis of List: Since the recent escape from Arcadia, the changelings of the freehold of Australia have been plagued by many threats. It’s the duty of Summer to be the defenders, making a pledge with the burning fire of a bonfire and taking a flaming piece of wood with them, the Summer Court now have a means of communicating with each other. Whenever near a large source of fire, generally a bushfire or a bonfire, the fire speaks the messages of the Summer Court. By speaking in turn to the great fire, the message is then received by other Summer Court members. The message can only be received by someone who possesses an affinity with Summer. The Fire Speaks for Us - For as long as I keep this fire burning, for as long as I don’t extinguish a natural fire, may fire convey my messages to my brotherin within the Court of Summer. May my voice be heard, may my Courts messages be heard. Should I extinguish this fire or a natural fire, may my Mantle burn me and may fire reap a favor in return. Type: Corporal, Courtly Emblem (Summer Court). One Sided. Tasks: Forbidden (lesser -1, Summer Court member cannot stop a natural fire), Endeavour (-2, must keep the fire given to them burning) Boons: Favor (lesser +1) Sanction: Poisoning of Boon (-1, The Summer Court member owes fire a favour in return) Duration: Season (+3) Invocation: 1 Willpower + 1 Glamour In Character Restrictions: In order to gain access to the list, a Changeling needs to be member of standing within the Summer Court and be a resident of Australia, since the Summer Fires do not travel outside of Australia. The member must have Summer Mantle 1 and live inside Australia. Furthermore, gaining access to the list requires giving up a glamour to a bonfire. List infiltration Policy: Only those with a connection to Summer can gain the information provided by the bonfires. However, rumors suggest that a Suns Shadow can gain access to the messages spread by the fire if they make the same pledge as the Summer Court. List Banning Policy: Any member of the Summer Court who no longer has any Mantle tie with Summer losses access to the messages provided by the bonfire. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email.
