In Character Basis of List ---------------------------------- This list is an OoC mechanic to represent an IC gossip network amongst the Gangrel. Some members within the Clan have undertaken to create an area for Gangrel to go to hang out and to catch up on recent events. Pubs at which Gangrel frequent can be found in all State Capitals and are dotted across the outback. They don't all have the same name, and the Gangrel know which places are safe and which ones are not. Gangrel go to these places to catch up on “what’s news”. The posts that are made represent the stories that are told when you go into one of these pubs. Players should keep the list premise in mind when making posts: remember it’s word of mouth/Chinese whispers so you should make posts in second person (ie. As if someone else was talking about you) and “never let the truth get in the way of a good story” by exaggerating where appropriate. If players unsubscribe (due to character death, or otherwise), as per the rules on shared havens, your Haven merit of 1 will reduce by one point to zero. The pub still exists, but Gangrel will no longer frequent it and it will cease to have any connection with the Clan. In Character Restrictions --------------------------------- Characters must be Recognised Gangrel (ie. Gangrel Clan Status 1). Players must purchase level 1 haven to contribute towards the network of Pubs across the country. This list doesn’t exist on paper, it is an OOC representation of in-person conversations. As a result no post is permitted to be quoted directly unless your character has the Eidetic Memory merit. List Infiltration Policy --------------------------- Infiltrators will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Subscribers will be given opportunities to discover infiltrators where appropriate. Eg. If you use Obfuscate, subscribers with Auspex may receive a chance to detect you. List Banning Policy ------------------------- This is an email list and Netiquette should be used at all times on an OOC level. The Code of Conduct should also be adhered to at all times on an OOC level. If you get “outed” as not being a Gangrel, no one will talk to you and you’ll be booted from the list (in addition to whatever else they do to you).
