List Premise for the circle of crone list Approval Number: AUS0105001 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ From times past the crones have used there skills in communication through there blood by aid of the Cruac ability. Not much has changed in this procedure and its history of who created it is lost long ago, and there has never been a reason for change. With the coming of the 21st century some of the younger members feel that it should be adapted to the modern world all attempts to do so have failed. List entry Requirements: The Circle of the Crone list is based around an adaptation of the Blood witness ritual that allows members of the Convenient to communicate through the blood. The device to facilitate this communication is known as the Dish of the Crone. Using it, the user can send a dreamlike message that speaks to the blood of any attuned to another Dish. All Characters that begin play with Status: Circle of the Crone of at least one dot may start play with a Dish, creation a new dishes requires a Cruac user to learn the creation ritual. New Ritual: The Dish of the Crone Cruac Ritual Level: 2 The dish is first formed from clay it has a radius between 8 to 10 inches, when it is shaped it is then soaked in the ritualists blood for 5 minutes and the ritualist places his incantations on it surface. Then it is placed in a oven and heated, it is then taken out and allowed to cool surrounded by air. The final process is soaking in water for 10 minutes, after which it is dried and is ready for use; the entire process takes 4 hours to complete. The Dish is attuned to a user other than it’s creator in a minor Occult ritual that involves the dish being soaked in water mixed with one point of the subject’s vitae. A dish is attuned to one user at a time, attuning it again will attune it to a new user. Attuning a Dish requires about half an hour and the ritual must be performed by an individual with at least one level of Cruac (Knowing how to create the Dish is not necessary to attune to one) , though any Kindred may be attuned to the Dish. (Mortals and Ghouls may not be) Using the Dish afterwards requires a small medative ritual that take approximately and hour to perform. Entry conditions: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Main conditions of entry. 1) Must have a “The Dish of the Crone” NOTE: All characters starting the new chronicle as active crone members begin play with this dish eg they do not need to create one. 2) The drop of blood placed in the bowel must be from a character with at least one dot in Cruac. The list is entered by the spilling of the infused blood, upon the dish of the crone. The lead ritualist says a chat that offers the crone to partake in this gift of blood, this is quoted in many ways and no two ritualists do the chant the same. After this one feels the information flow between them and the pool as thoughts and ideas pass through, a touch of something not there. List behaviour ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Information: The medium is incorporeal and to current knowledge it is believed by most it can not be altered, some believe that that if the ritual is based on spiritual link and this could lead to corruption. There has never been any record of this ever happening in recorded history, thou how the ritual was first set up are long lost. Links: As The Dish of the Crone is a conduit to this medium and is a physical object it can be destroyed causing the local link to fail. Individual messages: They can be sent over the link as long as you know the targets name, contact the listmod to request this. Infiltration ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Need to have the following… 1) At least the blood of someone with one level of cruac 2) Circle of crone status 2 or learns of the ritual by (torture, mind reading, surveillance etc) 3) The Dish of the Crone All attempted infiltration must be communicated OOC to the listmod at least 24hrs before the attempt, so the supervising ST’s may be informed.
