In Character Basis of List:
The Adamantine Arrow of Australia communicate seemingly by Kata (body positioning and movement exercises, commonly used in martial arts). Each individual Arrow has his/her own individual and unique kata that seem unable to be mimicked correctly by others, yet allow them communication with the others around Australia. Supernal visions show some magic to be in effect when the Arrow practices this communion technique – its composition shows Fate, Forces, Space and Time magic involved, and while it’s source is not the mage, the identification reads as the Arrow performing the kata. There appear two sets of kata, one to send, and another to receive. Arrows using the first may speak their messages to be received by all Australian Arrows (although there is no audible sound issued from them), and using the second only themselves hear the messages sent by members of the list. Because sent messages must be spoken, even though it is not able to be heard by others, most uses of this are conducted in private to avoid lip-reading, and so this practice is rarely seen by other awakened.
In Character Restrictions:
This method of communication is for Australian Adamantine Arrow players, and Characters should be recognised members of the Order within Australia, having some status in the Adamantine Arrows.
A new member to the order in Australia is usually inducted by a Adamantine Arrow mentor or friend, and at this stage choses her/his kata with which they will perform to send, receive and access old messages. New members to the order that originate in Australia are inducted and select their own kata as a matter of their initiation within the Adamantine Arrows – but overseas members or those moving to Australia from overseas must obtain and induction from another member already able to communicate this way.
Mentors or friends inducting a new Arrow to the communication kata give them the same choice that they were given when they were inducted. They must either swear an Oath to protect the medium and it’s creator, no matter the cost – or embrace an unknown destiny.
Joining characters must have a minimum of Status 1 in the Adamantine Arrows. Additionally, characters must specify if they accept their unknown fate (have or buy Destiny 1) or swear the Oath (no cost, but now bear a powerful Geas). Players who choose to accept the unknown fate, and have or buy Destiny 1, may choose to specify their Ban, or leave it as the default ban for this communication form (unspecified). Players who choose the Oath must find out IC about the mark of fate on them, and even so, what it is specifically appears to be obscured. International members transferring their characters to Australia must find out IC about the method and be inducted by someone already on the list.
List infiltration Policy:
It is possible for infiltrators to gain access to the list or parts thereof. It is required that each such character fully detail how they have obtained the information they are using for their attempt and how they are going about this attempt. Players should explain such things as how their character came to find out about the list, what exactly they know about it and how, as well as how they intend to use this information to access the item or the individual messages. All such explanations and applications should be subject to the appropriate approvals and the list moderator’s discretion.
List Banning Policy:
If the memory of the kata that is used is somehow broken (through brain damage) or removed from the Arrow’s mind (through mind magic or similar) they will be removed from the list as their means to access it no longer functions. This may be regained with appropriate training (list moderator and player’s ST discretion).
If the Character dies, they will be removed from the list.
Any two Adamantine Arrows already part of the list can remove a character who leaves the Arrows, or divulges important Order information to someone outside the Order (the IC means to this list included) from this medium by sending a specific message asking for their removal. While not a specified requirement, it is considered bad form to not give a valid reason as part of this message.
